Our Feature of the Month
U.S. Marine Sergeant Jason Arellano was recalled to the front lines of Iraq on September 11, 2004. Three months and a day later, Jason’s bravery and strength were tested to the brim. Jason was wounded by a grenade, sending shrapnel throughout the body, and following was shot in the groin, but blessed to have barely missed the femoral artery, as well as bones and joints. Jason proudly served the United States Marine Corp until this tragic accident, which should have left him for dead. For a fighter such as himself, Jason surprised the doctors with a miraculous recovery; he is currently working with former navy seals in San Diego instructing Navy sailors and enjoying a life with his wife, Lindsey. The unfortunate accident in Iraq tested the faith of Jason, his family, and Lindsey, as well as many of their friends and supporters.
Jason, along with Code 3 Training Center, is working diligently to develop curriculum for upcoming courses to be offered in the Fall of 2008. All of us at Code 3 Training Center look forward to working with Jason and foresee many great things in the future.
